Homage KickFlip Event. May 18 2008

Homage hosted a Krux Kickflip Contest on sunday may 18, 2008. If you missed it, you missed it. The team came out and represented and the contest was won by David Brown! Congratulations. He flipped 64 kickflips in a row. If this is the first time you are reading about a kickflip contest, the ground rules are simple. The contest is to see who can kickflip the most consistently without missing a flip. You get three chances to warm up. Once you land one kickflip in the three chances, the counting begins. If you don t land one, then the counting begins after the three warm ups. If you don t land one after the three warm ups, then you have officially choked. Or maybe kickflips are not in the repetoire. The second place winner was Joseph of Homage and the third place winner was Sam. Since this is not a skate site or a skate blog, I apologize for the really sloppy detailing of information. I m just skimming and covering the base. I got 2 kickflips. Yes, two. I officially choked. It was a good time had by all.

The first place prize was a pair of krux, a krux video and a tee shirt. Second place prize was a pair of krux trucks, tee shirt and a video. Third place contestant got a pair of trucks and a tee shirt. Congratulations to all for participating and Keep your eyes on the Homage site.. www.homagebrooklyn.com for more contests coming this summer!!
