REd bULLS vs Columbus Crew on saturday was an amazing game!! This is not a sports commentary page so not much else to tell you but.. the Columbus Crew scored within the first 10 minutes if not 5 minutes. Then shortly after that, a Rafa Marquez bomb pass to a sprinting Tierry Henry leveled the game. During the first half, Dex McCarty and Tim Cahill were relentlessly shutting down and creating movements. TIM CAHILL! In the second half, Dex McCarty got a beautiful header from a Henry corner in 78 minutes and the final goal was scored by Henry Again.. this time, a high lofted optical illusion corner kick to the far post to bend it in to the net without a goalie movement... SICK!
I know people who enjoy futbol and complain about their leagues because it s not as good as europe, south america, mexico.. etc.. MLS is growing. There are super quality players coming to the league, who are not passed their prime and rather, I think what they bring to the pitch are ideas that strengthen the league. On top of that, MLS has a hugh crop of internationals that may not be the greatest, but definately like a great pot of stew, deep flavor. Definately into checking out more NYRedBull Games!! and if there is any concern of distance.. it s really really close, less than an hour.
