I was recently featured in an article about my art show in Popeye Magazine, May Issue. Yes, it is july but oh, what the hey. I want to take the time out to especially thank, Yumiko Sakuma for the brilliant editing job, Akira Yamada for the awesome images and of course, Nepenthes USA for allowing me to display my works in their amazing store, located on 38th street between 8 th and 9 th avenues, closer to the north west corner of 8th avenue. 110704: Happy Fourth Of July! NOMA Spring/Summer 2011 collection

NOMA is a Japanese clothing brand started by Masako and Takuma. It is represented by Nepenthes Japan and is being distributed locally in Japan. For their spring/summer 2011 collection, they featured me(!) as a model. I was surprised but was an honorable flattery. Originally, Masako is a fabric designer and Takuma is a fashion clothing store owner. They both met, fell in love and now, produce a very cool line of clothes that can only be get in Japan. Enjoy.

Dustin Cohen is a great photographer who worked with me on the Sunglass Hut/One Sight Project in the winter 2010. He has updated his website to include said project as subject for his wonderful portfolio.

110318. School Fund Raiser

As you may know, the economy has gone pretty south these days and we, the citizens, are taking responsibility to be accountable for our actions and being. My son attends PS 261, an amazing Public School in Boerum Hill Neighborhood of Brooklyn and currently, they have organized a school fund raiser to raise money for the school as we prepare for a budget cut from Albany and the City. If by chance you happen to be reading this and want to help out, please hit the link below or attend our March 26, wednesday evening fund raiser auction. I ve heard there is even a guitar signed by Keith Richards in the fund raiser among many other artists and musician folks and stores and gyms rallying to get the school budget balanced!
